This is a hidden little gem in the heart of Borehamwood. The food is fresh and spot on and cooked on the charcoal giving it an authentic flavour, but its the service that wins your heart. The waiters are genuinely concerned about making it a great experience. The tea and baklava thst they give in the end on the house just seals the deal. Amazing place

Simply the loveliest and most friendly restaurant. I regularly come here with my family. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced with big portions, service is always wonderful, and overall they are very kind and accommodating. There’s a reason I’ve probably been here about 20+ times!!

This was the third year in a row that we invited our legal team to Likya in Borehamwood for our annual Christmas lunch. With 23 guests to entertain, I simply cannot fault how attentive and welcoming the staff were. Like all Christmas lunches, we were a little tight for time, so service was important for the experience. Staff catered for our every need, never having to ask twice. The food, as always, was delicious, excellent value and with no delays or issues with ordering for so many. Be warned the meals are huge and you’ll probably skip dinner for that evening! Would highly recommend especially for large parties.

Excellent food, lovely staff and great value. It's nice that this restaurant gives bread and some dips when you sit down and tea, baklava and Turkish delight after the meal all at no extra cost. Try it, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Stopped here for a solo dinner while working in the area — really glad I did. The owner (or manager) was very friendly and welcoming, and made sure I was well looked after. I had the mixed grill, which was excellent — generous portion with a great variety of meats to try, all cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The food overall was great and not terribly priced for the quality and portion size. A very enjoyable experience, and I’d definitely return next time I’m in the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Turkish food and warm, friendly service.

Wonderful staff, super friendly and helpful. I ordered a mixed doner (lamb and chicken) which had excellent flavour and was a very large portion. We also had fresh hummus which came with warm bread. We also ordered the kleftico which was so soft and fell off the bone. I really enjoyed the ale nazik which was lamb meat pine nuts and aubergine yogurt as a starter. My only criticism was that it was quite loud and the tables were a little sticky. They kindly gave us Turkish tea as a treat at the end. The next time I went they gave us Turkish delights free and offered mint tea which was £3 each.

The food quality was great. We tried meat and vegetarian Musaka and both were one of the best we tried! Definitely recommend and will come back again!

It's our first time in the restaurant. The staff are accommodating and respectful, won't rush you. They served us complimentary bread and sauces which are good. The main course were delicious and the servings are generous. They also give complimentary desserts---baklava and turkish delight. The staff was also kind to offer me the Turkish coffee which I declined for a reason, but hopefully get to try it next time. Overall, fantastic restaurant and a must-try! The're located in the high street so finding the place is not a problem.
